50 Cent Vitamin Water Commerical

This commercial had been released a couple years ago but it has always stood out to me and to this day one of my favorite commercials. Since 50 cent is used for this commercial it would be considered testimonial.  Vitamin water is famous for using celebrities in their ads to endorse there product, and it really does draw your attention to the ad.  Not only do they use celebrities but they play off of what the celebrity they are using is known for. In this case 50 cent is a rapper so they incorporate one of his well-known songs in the ad. This ad also uses transfer because the whole commercial is based off an orchestra playing the tune to one of 50 cents songs, and they say in the commercial that he has always looked up to Beethoven but hasn’t felt he could conduct anything until he has drank vitamin water.  Also in this ad they use the propaganda technique direct order. This use direct order at the end of the ad where they tell the viewers to” try it”. In almost every vitamin water ad you will find some sort of direct order similar to ‘try it” that is telling you to go get their product.
