This
week I watched Rango, Rango is an animated film about a Chameleon who gets
thrown out of a car while they are driving through the desert. They show Rango
falling off the car in a montage, then after they show another whole montage of
him and another ‘friend’ that he meets right after he falls off the car. Rango
and his ‘friend’ get spotted by a ‘Hawk’ and they show a montage of him and his
‘friend’ trying to hide from the hawk. In the end of this montage his ‘friend’
gets taken away and Rango survives. Another montage comes closer to the end of
the movie when Rango is told to leave the town that he was staying in. They show
him walking away from the town in the light and every time the scene changes
they show Rango getting farther and farther away and more time he looks more
alone and it keeps getting darker. After this scene they have Rango come to the
road where he was first shown in the desert. This scene could be used for Mis
en Scene because in the beginning of the movie his ‘friend’ said that no one
who tries to go across survives. Rango just walks across the road and survives.
Right after he makes it across the road he notices these cacti that follow the
water this makes him overcome his fears and he helps to save the town that he
was living in to get their water back. Overall Rango was a really amazing
movie.
