Van Wilder

A few days ago, I watched the movie Van Wilder.  This movie is about a college student, Van Wilder, who has been going to college for 7 years.  Everybody in the entire school likes him and he keeps failing his classes so he doesn't graduate because he has so many friends.  The movie starts out with a student about to jump off a building to kill himself.  During this scene, a long shot is used to show how high the building is.  A long shot was also used when Van was holding the charity event for the swim team and he got the over weight student, Milty Mingleton, to jump into the pool in a speedo.  A long shot was used when Milty was on the diving board again to show the height of where he was about to jump.  In the scene where Van is going to his assistant interviewing, the camera is tracking him.  In the scene where Van is is court, a deep focus lens is used to show Milty in the window in the background with a megaphone chanting to let Van stay.
