For this mojo i have decided to write about a funny bud
light commercial that a friend has shown me entitled "The Elevator"
this commercial is about this attractive woman on an elevator and a guy walks
in to the elevator and his buddy’s stop the elevator so he can get to know the
woman and he offers her a bud light. So after a while they start dancing and
stuff and the girl gives the guy her phone number then after that they let the
elevator work again. Then after the guy a girl get off they see an even more attractive
female come into the building and walk into the elevator and another guy does
the same thing. This commercial makes great use of humor they make the
commercial funny so the audience will remember the commercial. Also they used
sex appeal in this commercial and tried to make you think that if you have bud
light you will be able to pick up beautiful women. Bud light is very well known
for using sex appeal in their add and commercial they try to even engrain this
fact into the minds of young children so that when they become older and not
even legal age but just old enough to start maturity they want to experiment
with alcohol because when they see other people having fun with it they think
they will have fun as well.

I also recently watched a Bud Light commercial featuring Avicii, of which was aired during this past winter's Super Bowl. The commercial showed an office workplace being turned into a party through the consumption of Bud Light, and music by Avicii. I noticed a parallel to the commercial Dave viewed as there were also dancing/party scenes in the Super Bowl commercial I viewed. In general, Bud Light seems to make use of party scenes in which the party is apparently driven by the consumption of Bud Light, and everyone is having fun. A propaganda technique used in this Super Bowl commercial as well as other Bud Light commercials is transfer, as the commercial may lead viewers to believe that Bud Light makes a party better and more fun. Another propaganda technique used specifically in this commercial is endorsement, as Avicii, a famous music artist, is seen dj'ing at a party where Bud Light is the only beverage being consumed. In similarity to Dave's commercial, I noticed that there weren't really any ugly people in the commercial, possibly to enhance the product's image. One visual element used in the commercial was it was largely monochromatic, and consisted of mainly shades of blue. This may be due to the blue coloration of the Bud Light Platinum bottle, drawing attention to the product.
