Family Guy

I have recently watched an episode of Family Guy.  The episode i watched is caled "Dog Gone".  This episode is about how Brian kills another dog by accident and then relizes no one cares about dogs.  So he then tries to convince everyone that a dog's life has value.  There are a few film techniques used during this episode.  One film technique used was panning.  This was used after Brian relized that the book he wrote wasn't as good as he thought and went to the bar.  At the bar, the camera pans over all of the alcohol to show that he has had alot to drink.  Another film technique is music.  Brian is driving and he is drunk and runs into a dog.  When this hppened, loud, exciting music was played to represent what Brian was feeling at the time.  The music continued until after he buried the body of the dog he murdered.  A third film technique that was used was an extreme close up.  This was used when Joe came to their house and informed the Griffins that Brian was in a fire at a bar and he died.  At this point, the camera zoomed in on Lois's face to show her her surprise and worry.  But they didn't know that Stewie had set the whole thing up in order to show Brian that people did like him.
