The Biggest Loser

This week on The Biggest Loser, there was a lot of drama.  First, the show did not start off the normal way it does, which got the viewers engaged right away.  It showed a montage of shots on campus with no one around, and then the viewer heard the camera crew talking.  There was talk of contestants wanting to quit the show.  It turns out that two of the contestants left the show because they thought it was unfair that eliminated contestants were allowed to return to the show.  The contestants that stayed were very lucky because they had a one in three chance to win a brand new car that was not available to the public yet.  This part of the show showed a lot of advertising.  In fact, one of the trainers decided to work out with the car.  They drove the car a little way away from the ranch, and the trainer explain many of the new features that it has.  Then the trainer had a contestant put a harness on and pull the car around the campus.  Whenever the people could, they tried to say the car’s name, Ford Escape, to make the viewer remember the name.  While this appears as a great workout, it also is very good advertisement for the car.  I believe this show promotes many products as well as encourages good health.
