The Running Man

For the book that i have been reading for this semester, i selected The Running Man. There was a movie made also called The Running Man that I have recently watched.  The movie was alot different than the book.  The movie was about a guard that turned against his orders and got arrested.  In the beggining of the movie, he was running from the police, trying not to get captured.  During these scenes, energetic music as playing to make the audience feel like they were in the chace.  After he got caught, they forced him to participate in a game show called The Running Man, where he would have to make it through some arenas without dying.  In the arenas, the lighting was very dark to show that bad things were going on with the game show.  the game show used things like lying in order to make people keep watching it so the owners would keep getting money.  Also, when the game first stared, all of the people watching were betting on the bad people to win.  As the show progressed and the guy was killing all of the bad people, low angles were used on the guy in order to show that he was more powerful than his opponents.
