LIfe: season 1 episode 1

Recently I watched the first episode to the TV, series, Life. The show is about a Los Angeles police officer that got sent to prison for killing a family. The only thing is, he’s innocent. After the case is reviewed, the find out that he is innocent and he is released and paid 50 million dollars after a law suit. He reenlists with the police and is given the position of detective. The show then takes on the standard police/drama role. This involves many close-ups on any evidence that they might find and the expression that they characters have during the investigation. The only thing that this show doesn’t have is the extreme close-ups that you’d expect to see in a crime show. The directors also use a lot of mid range shots so that the viewer can see the entire crime scene. This also helps the viewer get a perspective of the placement of any clues and helps give the feeling that you are standing at the crime scene. The only issue that I have with this show is that there are only 2 seasons on Netflix.
