The Pink Panther

This week i watched the movie The Pink Panther which  is about the murder of soccer coach in france who dies from a poison dart in the throat. So the cheif of polices decides to bring in a inspector named Jacques Clouseau who thinks he has control in the case while the cheif actually does. While Clouseau is on the case he has a lot of akward and funny moments like when he and his partner interviewing a international popstar Xania the coaches girlfriend he is so star striken he embarasses himself. This behavior continues on throughout the movie when he questions many other key witnesses in the case such as the trainer, the star player who he does a good cop bad cop procedure which ends with him getting electricuted and so much more. By the end of the movie Clouseau finds out the murder and finds the pink panther a very expessive and rare dimond that was lost when the soccer coach was murdered.
The main theme that is played out in this movie is to never judge a book by its cover. The reason Clouseau was hired was because he tends to mess up on everything he does. So for this reason he is suppose to make a fool out of himself while the Chief comes out victorious by solving the case. But clouseau follows his gut and follows his random information he gets from his leads. When clouseau gets the bad guy he recieves a prestigious honor that the cheif wanted. So by him coming off on top it opens many doors to his career. This movie also teaches you to not use people for your own gain. The cheif learns this because of his plan majorly back firing. Even the assistant that he hired to watch Clouseau changed went against his plan to back him up.
