I watched monday night world wresting entertainment. This show is shot live every monday night so your getting the feel from the techniques the camera men use and what the owners want you to feel as action unfolds. The show starts out with a montage of all the superstars that appear on the show then cuts to fireworks. The big news is that former world wrestling and Ufc champion Brock Lesnar has harsh words for his rival John Cena later in the show. For each superstar the entrances get a unquie blend to give you a certain feel. The music of the first match hits and its current Champion Cm punk. He enters to a roar of fans cheering him creating a feeling inside you where you think your there. Each camera has a different angle. The one is a long shot of the crowd. Then a camera pans to Punk and zooms in. ANother cmaera gets a low angle shot showing hes supior to everyone. He screams "Its Clobbering Time" and enters the ring. The camera zooms out as he stand on the ropes screaming. Just for this one entrance sound camera angles mis en scene is used. A chair placed around the ring becomes the mis en scene because he uses it to beat his challenger in the ened. Overall its a great show with alot of techniques used.

Many film techniques are used in the wwe show. Camera work is extensively changed to show a viewer what is going on. Different angles, shot lengths, and shot durations are all used to create an atmosphere around the show. During entrances, film shots are switch between the crowd, the star, and his entrance video at a very fast rate. The crowd shots are long distance and pan all around to show the excitement in the arena. Shots on the star are all close-ups and help the viewer recognize who he is. When they show there entrance video, it usually helps characterize or create the persona for the star coming up. Quickly switching between all these shots adds to the excitement and atmosphere the viewer experiences. Another technique used is mis on scene. Here people or objects are specifically placed to draw the viewers’ attention and make them wonder why it is there. Like kyle pointed out, things are often placed which will change and determine the outcome a certain match, such as a metal chair. The techniques used draw the viewer’s attention and help create the experience that is going on in the arena right at their own house.
