This week I watched an episode of my favorite show, Friday Night Lights. It was an episode from the third season called "Tomorrow Blues". This episode was a season finale so it was extra dramatic and eventful. Usually this show focuses greatly on the state-championship-winning football team, but suprisingly this episode focused more on the graduating seniors. There are a few key characters who are graduating this year;Tim Riggins, Lyla Garrity, Tyra Collette, and Matt Saracen. They all come from a working class town where most of their family has never been to college. So, for all of these seniors finally getting into college, it's a huge deal.
Towards the end of the episode, Matt decides to put his grandmother in a nursing home because he will be going off to college and no one can take care of her anymore. You could see how upset he was to leave her and then the next day when he's at a wedding, there is a montage where he decides that he can't leave his grandma there. He gets in the car and drives to the home and tells her to pack up all of her things. During this montage, there is no talking just music, but this creates more of a dramatic effect. It was a great ending to the season and it leaves you hanging to see what'll be coming in season 4.
