My favorite TV show to watch on a Sunday night is The Worst
Cooks in America. It’s a really great show that takes really bad cooks and
tries to turn them into an average cook at home. This show is great because it
doesn’t give you complicated recipes that you will probably never try. They are
more homey and simple to make. During this show, you watch a lot of cooking.
The camera does many extreme close-ups of the demonstrator, Anne or Bobby. You
mostly see it when they are teaching the contestants how to prepare the dish.
The close-up is of either their hands or whatever the dish is that they are
making. While the contestants are making that dish, you rarely ever see the
camera do more than a medium shot because they want you to be able to see
everything that they are doing. Another thing that the show does is advertise
the cooking utilities that they use. In almost every show, they somehow sneak
in that the kitchen utilities are from Kohls. This show is not only informing
us on how to cook things properly, but they are also telling us the things that
we should use to make our food taste better.

ReplyDeleteI love this show. I love ALL Food Network shows.
And when this one is done in a few weeks, I can't WAIT to see the new Chopped: All Stars series!
