Pretty Little Liars

Every Monday night, there is a show on called Pretty Little Liars. My mom, my sister and I watch it. The girls are trying to find out, who murdered one of their best friend’s as they all get accused for it but they know it really wasn’t any of them. There is a girl named Jenna, which the show makes out to be blind which everyone believes but the viewer’s aren’t so sure about it. She recently got eye surgery to see if the doctors could restore her eye sight. As she attempts to take the bandages off her eyes to see if she could see, her brother, Toby, walks in. She claims she still cannot see and so her brother believes her. She goes to school the next day and acts like she is still blind. The girls have a tension with her because she believes they are the reason she is blind and the girls think she is the one that killed their friend, Allison. Every time Jenna comes around the girls or talks to them, the music gets heavier and gloomy as if the director is warning the audience that something bad is about to happen. It also shows Jenna’s relationship with the girls as well as the attention.

  1. I also watched this weeks episode of Pretty Little Liars. This show is such a good show to watch because it really has the viewers at the edge of their seats. In this episode, there is a scene where the girls go into a creepy doll shop. In the shop, it is dark, and there are sounds of creaking to get the effect that the shop is a creepy atmosphere. There is a little boy that the girls talk to, he lives in the shop and at one point, he tells the girls that he knew how Allison died. There was music in the background as the camera panned through all of the girls, this made it seem like something was going to happen. There was a close up of the little boy as he was telling the girls what he knew about the night Allison died. This showed the expression on his face very well. Pretty little liars is such a good show and the film techniques in it make it suspenseful and impossible to turn away from.
