Burn Notice

Recently I caught myself watching Burn Notice.  Its a show about a burned spy trying to fix the broken pieces of his life, while helping others.  His name is Michael Weston and in this episode he along with his exgirlfriend are trying to help a family who got divorced and their son was kidnapped.  The lighting for the majority of it is natural because their outside.  While trying to capture the man holding the kid and his partners Mike is being followed by cops.  The angles for the show are top notch in which medium shots long shots and close ups are used.  Like when Mike ha dthe feeling cops were near,  it zoomed in on his face and got his expression.  Then it panned over and you see walking up were cops.  At one point when they were tricking the kidnapper a deep focus shot was used showing Mikes friend had all the power in the situation while the kidnapper didn't.  The mis en scene was the gun Mikes friend had because they showed it a couple times.  To make it more used Mike and his friend tricked the kidnapper to go after his friends saying they were gonna screw him over.  The gun was taking from Mike friends Sam and the guy went to place where they were and opened fire.  The kidnapper and his friend were killed.  You heard the gun shots but they werent shown, all that was shown was a sunrise symbolizing a new start for the family and their son who was safe.
