Full Throttle Saloon
The show I watched this week was Full Throttle Saloon. The show is a reality series, based out of Sturgis, South Dakota about a biker bar. The main concept of the episode I watched was that it was Throttle Fest which was a huge event for Bikers and fans of music. Jesse a singer and one of the few in charge had to plan his stunt. You can tell from the close ups of his face he was scared but eager to complete his task. To capture the size of the bridge he was gonna jump off the camera from a downward view had a long shot. They then stepped back and had a long shot of him by the bridge to show the true size of it. The lighting for most of the show was natural but soon when night came there was a little back light used but the rest of the lights were from the surroundings at the bar. The mis en scene for this episode would have to be the bridge because it was so emphasized the whole time. The stunt went off without a hitch but when he jumped and the camera went at the same speed watching him, they would cut to other shots all in a span of seconds to get a feel. They then replayed the part but got the reactions of the crowd by zooming in and moving left and right so you can see their faces. Overall the show is great and even though it just recently ended its season I look forward to other episodes I missed and whats gonna happen next.
