In this Sunday’s episode of The
Celebrity Apprentice, the two teams where given the task perform an
original Medieval Times show. In a
particular scene, the women are telling Don Jr. about their show and what they
are going to do. As one of the women is explaining
the scenario, the camera is on her, but then it cuts to Don Jr. and a lady he
is sitting next to. It shows his
reaction and zooms in to him to enhance what he thinks. He tries to remain neutral to not give away
too much, but then it shows him in a single shot talking directly to the
viewers about his reactions. While he is
explaining his reactions, an editing technique is used to show the women
preparing for the task, such as two of the women sward fighting. At this moment, a sound technique is also
used for when his voice is playing in the background, but you do not actually
see him.
Many times in The Celebrity
Apprentice, the transition between scenes is a montage. For example, after a commercial break there
is a montage of city shots. At the
beginning you see the camera positioned to see out over a bridge and the sun
rises. This is symbolic because it tells
the time of day. Throughout the montage
you also see people walking and others walking their dogs. The final shot is of cars driving, and is
significant because it transitions to the women talking in a moving car in the road.
I am in love with this show! It is great entertainment, and I'm excited to watch it every week. This show, along with many other reality TV shows are drama related.Every show, including this last weeks episode, the two teams have to compete in a challenge that is business related, and there is a project major that is chosen to be in charge for this task. This creates a lot of drama. The producers pick people to be on the show that personalities would obviously clash, and this is what creates ratings, and more views. Donald Trump, and his staff in charge of this show know exactly what they are doing to create drama,suspense, and most important more and more viewers.
ReplyDeleteAfter every task he sits both groups down and singles them out one by one and asks challenging questions that would create drama with the rest of the contestants. It is hilarious to see these people argue and get up set, and it draws people in! Mr. Trump gets everyone worked up while sits there and has a smirk on his face. He knows exactly what to do,hence the fact it is his show, he is a very intelligent man and knows how to create good TV. Every episode he gets people to turn against each other, and throw each other under the bus just by asking certain questions.
